Max Flory

The 2023 ACC Men’s Diver of the Year dominated the ACC Championships, securing gold in all categories. Notably, he defended his 3-meter title and received the Most Valuable Diver award. With previous NCAA All-America honors and a strong pre-college record, his diving career exemplifies remarkable consistency and skill.

 

Max is an animal-based athlete who found AUPA bars to be a great fuel for his diving activities. AUPA bars provide optimal fuel for a variety athletes and athletics.

This past month Max competed at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Unfortunately, he did not make the team this time around. He'll be taking some time off right now to rest and recover for preparation for his final season in the NCAA. He will also be continuing to train for the LA Olympics in 2028.

This month Max traveled to Xi’an, China to compete in the World Cup Series Super Final. He came in 6th place in the men’s 10m synchronized event (while eating plenty of AUPA bars on the flights and during the event). He is currently home in Miami training for the Olympic trials in June. Max will be competing in the men’s 10m individual event in hopes of qualifying to compete in the Olympic Games in Paris, France shortly after. As always Max thanks AUPA the continued support and the nutrient dense snacks.

This month Max competed in the second stop of the World Cup Series which took place in Berlin, Germany. At this event he finished in 4th place in the men’s 10m synchronized event and 4th place in the mixed team event. Max's performance there was high enough to qualify him for the World Cup Series Super Final in Xi’an, China. He will be training towards a great performance there and hopefully some medals. Max thanks AUPA for the continued support and sponsorship of his nutrition throughout training and competing. Max says that's it is extremely helpful to have an actual healthy snack that he can rely on while traveling.

First of all Max says he loves AUPA bars. He says they are his favorite snack and that he's been loving them for practices and competitions. Max notes they are especially good for traveling! This month Max trained hard for, and is currently at the first stop of the World Cup Series in Montreal, Canada. He competed in the mixed team event and also in the men’s synchronized 10m platform event. Max has been enjoying the bars tremendously while preparing and training hard for his upcoming competition in Canada!

This month has been calm for Max but nonetheless productive. Max came back to training after the holidays and got right to work. His month has been spent training and preparing for the upcoming competitions. His spring semester of classes started up again as well. Max has about 1 month to focus on training and prepping for his next competition. Max is obviously enjoying AUPA bars as a frequent snack and using the AUPA bar fuel for the burn!

This month Max competed in the USA Diving Winter National Championships. The competition didn’t go as he hoped, resulting in missing out on qualifying for the World Championships.

However, Max has been selected to compete in the World Cup Series in the 10m synchronized event. The first leg of the series will take place in Montreal, Canada in February, the second leg takes place in Berlin, Germany in March, and the final stop is in Xi’an, China in April.

Max will be preparing to compete in those events and using them to help sharpen his competition skills ahead of the Olympic Trials this June!

Max diligently prepares for the USA Diving Winter National Championships, fine-tuning his skills and concentration for the imminent event. With the schedule set for December 4th, he's geared up for the preliminaries and semifinals, leading up to the finals on December 6th, focused specifically on the challenging 10m platform event.

The stakes are notably high, given that the top two performers in this competition secure their spots to represent the USA at the esteemed World Championships in Doha, Qatar, slated for February. Max's unwavering determination and dedicated efforts shine through as he aims to secure one of those coveted positions.

Max is fully immersed in his training regimen, gearing up for the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. Engaging in both the 10m platform and synchronized 10m platform events, he shuttles back and forth between Purdue and his synchronized partner, tirelessly perfecting their routines.

While the Pan American Games leave Max somewhat disappointed with the performance, it fuels a determination to intensify efforts. His sights are now firmly set on the upcoming Winter National Championships, a pivotal qualifier for the prestigious World Championships. This setback only strengthens Max's resolve to showcase a much-improved performance.
